Official Statement
About the international network extension, Captain Ibrahim Koshy, CEO of SAUDIA, said: “We are happy to offer our passengers more flights to Europe’s most significant destinations. The increased frequency also creates the chance to connect to our expanding network more effectively and to receive more guests to the Kingdom.
SAUDIA will provide 56 weekly international services to and from 14 locations by the middle of the year. The increase in capacity gives SAUDIA visitors even greater access to the world while also enhancing trade and economic prospects.
Bangkok
From March 26 forward, SAUDIA will add three extra flights from Jeddah to Bangkok. As a result, SAUDIA will operate a total of 10 flights per week from Jeddah to Bangkok and three flights per week from Riyadh.
Seoul
From Jeddah and Riyadh, SAUDIA will begin nonstop flights to Seoul as of March 26. As a result, SAUDIA will operate 4 flights per week connecting Jeddah and Riyadh with Seoul, two of which will be nonstop flights.
Guangzhou
Three times each week starting on March 26, SAUDIA will fly from Jeddah to Guangzhou. Moreover, the airline will start two additional weekly flights out of Riyadh.
Kuala Lumpur
SAUDIA will begin offering three additional weekly routes between Riyadh and Kuala Lumpur as of March 26. With the additional services, SAUDIA will operate 24 flights a week from Kuala Lumpur, including 21 flights from Jeddah and 3 flights a week from Riyadh.
Singapore
Three times per week beginning on March 27, SAUDIA will operate nonstop flights to Singapore from Jeddah. The present one-stop trip via Male will be replaced by the new non-stop flights.
Athens
SAUDIA will begin providing three weekly trips from Jeddah to Athens on March 28. Starting on June 23, the business will also offer three more weekly flights from Riyadh to Athens.
Jakarta
Three new weekly services between Riyadh and Jakarta will be added by SAUDIA beginning on March 28. The airline will also add three extra weekly flights, improving service between Jeddah and Jakarta. With the additional services, SAUDIA will operate 24 weekly flights from Jakarta, including 21 flights from Jeddah and 3 flights from Riyadh.
London
SAUDIA will begin operating a third daily flight from Riyadh to London on May 1. SAUDIA will double daily service between Jeddah and London as of July 1. With the additional services, SAUDIA will operate 35 weekly flights from London, including 14 flights from Jeddah and 21 flights from Riyadh.
Istanbul
Beginning on June 23, SAUDIA will increase the number of daily flights between Riyadh and Istanbul to two. With the additional services, SAUDIA will operate 35 weekly flights from Istanbul, including 21 flights from Jeddah and 14 flights from Riyadh.
Milan
SAUDIA will begin daily service to Milan on June 23. In addition to the current four flights per week from Jeddah, the business will add three more flights each week from Riyadh.
Geneva
Geneva will be served twice daily starting on June 24 by SAUDIA. Both Jeddah and Riyadh will have daily flights to Geneva.
Barcelona
SAUDIA will begin offering four times weekly flights from Jeddah to Barcelona starting on June 25.
Vienna
SAUDIA will begin daily service to Vienna on June 23. In addition to the current four flights per week from Jeddah, the business will add three more flights each week from Riyadh.
Paris
SAUDIA will treble the number of daily flights between Jeddah and Paris starting on August 1. With the additional services, SAUDIA will now operate 21 flights a week from Paris, including 14 flights from Jeddah and 7 flights from Riyadh.
Current Situation
The newest and most technologically advanced wide-bodied jets now on the market, the B787-9, B777-300ER, Airbus A320-200, Airbus A321, and Airbus A330-300, are among the 142 aircraft that SAUDIA currently operates.
