Mar Hall unveils plans for luxurious woodland lodges

Visionary plans for 30 stunning lodges nestled within the 240-acre ancient woodland estate of Mar Hall Hotel, Golf & Spa Resort have been revealed.

Strategically positioned for breath-taking views across the meandering River Clyde and the majestic Kilpatrick hills and beyond, the one-, two- and four-bedroom luxury lodges will each offer an unparalleled sense of seclusion, surrounded by mature forestry, nestled within the Mar Hall estate. Welcoming couples, groups, and families, each lodge will benefit from its own private entrance and outdoor terrace with hot tub.  Inside guests will be enveloped in rustic charm, with a super king bed, dressing area, ensuite, lounge, and log burner.

For those looking to explore, each lodge comes equipped with its own set of bicycles allowing guests to leisurely tour the grounds and neighbouring Luss Estate. After a day of adventure, guests can unwind in the newly refurbished pool and spa facilities at the hotel.

Lodge Type B

Ideal for entertaining in a woodland hideaway setting, the four-bedroom lodge suites span two floors with a central lounge and dining area. Guests can opt to savour the delicious locally inspired dishes crafted by executive chef, Tony Tapia, either in the resort’s restaurants and bars or in the comfort of their own lodge.

The new lodges will add a further 59 bedrooms to the Resort’s current key count of 70, delivering a welcome enhancement to large corporate and international group bookings, as well as those seeking accommodation for larger events and wedding parties.

These exciting plans come amidst the ongoing multi-million-pound renovation works being led by Align Partners, on behalf of Dutco, to reposition Mar Hall as one of the most luxurious resorts in the country. Most recently, the newly refurbished leisure suite was unveiled including a state-of-the-art gym, alongside a 20-meter swimming pool with saunas, steam rooms, relaxation space, and an outdoor thermal suite.

The planning application has been submitted to Renfrewshire Council with work planned to start immediately upon approval.
