YDNEY, AUSTRALIA – Aurora Expeditions, the pioneering adventure travel company known for responsible and immersive small ship exploration, has announced four new appointments within its North American sales team to support the travel trade and bolster brand presence in the market.
Scott Harner has joined Aurora as Sales Director, Key Accounts for the Eastern region. Based in Atlanta, Scott brings a wealth of expedition sales experience, a passion for this segment of the industry and for responsible travel and active adventures like kayaking. Scott will be responsible for the region spanning the eastern seaboard, including the state of Florida.
Julia Loria has joined the team as Sales Director for the West. Based in San Diego, Julia brings extensive travel industry sales experience in the expedition segment, and experience working to grow the North American and Latin American markets in previous roles. Julia also brings a diverse cultural background as a dual citizen of France and the United States, with fluency in French, English and Spanish. Julia’s focus will be to grow Aurora’s presence and revenue in key markets across the West region.
Preston Caddell will join as Sales Director Midwest and Key Accounts, bringing more than 15 years’ travel industry experience across sales and guest experience roles in cruising. Based in Minneapolis, Preston’s focus will be to grow Aurora’s presence in key markets such as Dallas, Houston, Chicago and more. Preston also has diverse international experience, being fluent in Spanish and having lived in China and South Korea.
Anita Gonsalves has joined as Director, Affinity Group Sales. Based in Boston, Anita has been in the travel industry her entire life, as her parents owned a travel agency while she was growing up. She brings a wealth of experience across agency sales, airlines, tour operators and more. When not working in travel, Anita can be found at her ice cream store on Block Island, RI. Anita will be responsible for sourcing new group opportunities for sustained revenue growth outside of the traditional indirect channels. This role will drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives, targeting special interest groups matching the profile of Aurora’s target clients throughout North America.

Aurora Expeditions recently released its Antarctica 25-26 Season, featuring a variety of Antarctic voyages across three purpose-built ships, including the brand-new Douglas Mawson, setting sail in December 2025.
