United Airlines has officially certified Aeronology for access to the airline’s content via a New Distribution Capability (NDC)-enabled interface.
The partnership includes a wide range of fares and ancillary services, providing customers with unparalleled convenience and flexibility in their travel plans.
This announcement marks another milestone for Aeronology as it continues to set a new standard in airline distribution. The company now offers full-service NDC capability with a global network of airlines on board.
Aeronology’s platform allows travel agents to perform all NDC and GDS/NDC transactions on a single screen, including searching, shopping, booking, ticketing, rebooking, reissuing, revalidating, voiding, and refunding.
The direct connection between Aeronology and United Airlines empowers travel sellers to deliver enhanced services, offering richer content tailored to the customer’s journey for a more personalized and seamless experience. The system is user-friendly and requires no additional training.
“We are incredibly proud to welcome United, an iconic global airline, as our latest full NDC Direct Connect partner,” said Mr. Russell Carstensen, Founder & CEO of Aeronology. “The timing of the United Airlines launch couldn’t be better. In recent months, Aeronology has introduced the AeroFares Travel Advisor booking engine to one of United Airlines’ largest global high-end travel partners, Virtuoso. Allowing Virtuoso members to use the UA NDC platform will be an incredible experience.”
The launch of Aeronology’s United Airlines NDC Direct Connect also supports other Star Alliance members in Aeronology’s NDC network, including Singapore Airlines, Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, and SWISS.
