Hilton has announced to the public that it has finished negotiating a management contract for a new hotel that will be located in Jeddah. The hotel is owned by AlAhli REIT, which is an investment vehicle that is publicly traded and managed by SNB Capital. In the coming years, Hilton intends to increase the number of hotels in its portfolio in Saudi Arabia to more than 75, with a variety of award-winning brands represented throughout those hotels.

About the Hotel
The first brand of its kind in Jeddah, DoubleTree by Hilton Jeddah Al Andalus Mall will open up in the following year, after experiencing a far-reaching renovation process that will improve the hotel’s guest rooms, dining establishments, leisure amenities, and others. The hotel offers 164 modern guest rooms and serviced apartments to guests, along with two one-of-a-kind food and drink experiences, cutting-edge fitness facilities that include a gym and an outdoor pool, and seven gatherings and event spaces.
This deluxe hotel is situated on King Abdallah Road, linked to Al Andalus Mall, one of Jeddah’s most popular shopping districts, and next to the Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital that will soon launch, comprising 330 beds. The hotel is a 10-minute car ride from many distinguished educational, medical, and entertainment establishments, as well as Jeddah’s downtown area, and is a 20-minute ride from King Abdulaziz International Airport.
Current Operations
At the moment, Hilton operates 16 hotels in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), and there are another 51 properties in the planning stages there. Within the next five years, the company expects to expand its operations to over 75 assets, adding new brands such as LXR Hotels & Resorts, Canopy by Hilton, Embassy Suites by Hilton, and Hampton by Hilton along the way.
