OYSTER BAY, NY – With travel sales across segments skyrocketing and the home-advisor sector flourishing, innovative home-based agency network NEST is investing in its future growth by adding to its team of business analysts.
Travel industry experts Jen Duckworth and Serra Wheeler will partner closely with NEST agencies to identify business opportunities, create marketing strategies and provide personalized support. They will help advisors make the most of the network’s resources, including marketing programs, technology tools, supplier partnerships, events and training. Duckworth and Wheeler will also recruit agencies to join the network, which is now 500 independent travel advisors strong.
“The encouragement our BAs provide to agencies is a huge differentiator for NEST,” said NEST Vice President Wayne Spector. “Our BAs have helped foster the strong sales growth NEST advisors are experiencing as well as our expansion with new agencies. Jen and Serra will help us further our mission of aiding home-based agencies to achieve greater success financially, professionally, and personally by championing solutions and opportunities exclusively for them.”
With a travel career spanning over 25 years, Duckworth brings innovative leadership and strategic acumen to NEST. Previously, she served as Vice President of Product Development at Smart Travel Group, marketing new products to advisors. Her other roles there included managing B2C operations, orchestrating conferences, overseeing the call center and leading an award-winning advisor recruitment program.
Wheeler brings a pure love of igniting growth as well as a unique perspective to her new role. She owned a NEST-affiliated home-based host travel agency for more than 15 years, which gives her a special understanding of advisor needs. With a background in computer science, Wheeler assists agencies with data analysis to provide key insights into the health of their business.
Founded in 2004, NEST is the first and only marketing network dedicated to the success of the independent home-based travel advisor. Its affiliate selection process ensures that only professional consultants with a track record of success and an entrepreneurial drive are accepted.
