Lufthansa Allegris takes off to Shanghai

Lufthansa flight LH726 with Allegris onboard took off August 14 at 10:15pm from Munich to Shanghai, the metropolis in East China. Following Vancouver, Toronto and Chicago, Shanghai becomes the fourth Allegris destination worldwide and the first one in Asia.

Under the name “Lufthansa Allegris”, a completely new travel experience is being created on long-haul routes from Economy, to Premium Economy, Business and First Class, are being given a new top-quality product that is unparalleled in the market thanks to its seating variety. And now, Allegris products are available on Munich-Shanghai route with the aircraft type A350-900. It consists of 38 seats including 8 suites in Business Class,  24 seats in Premium Economy Class, 201 seats including 22 seats with more legroom in Economy Class.

Three and half months after introduction on North America routes, the customer feedback on Allegris has been overwhelmingly positive. Travelers in all classes are very satisfied with the new cabin product. In Business Class, up to 97 per cent rate the flight with Allegris as better than before.

In the summer schedule of 2024, Lufthansa offers daily direct connection from Munich to Shanghai and Beijing.  Altogether the German flagship carrier provides 40 weekly flights from Germany to Greater China Region.
