LAKE GENEVA, WIS. – AAA Four Diamond Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, an iconic Marcus Hotels & Resorts destination located in Lake Geneva, WI, has announced the completion and first look of its most recent project, a full renovation of its meeting and event spaces.
Just in time for the 30th anniversary of the resort (May 2024), Grand Geneva Resort & Spa has completed a full renovation to its meeting facilities including five large ballrooms; four boardrooms; the ballroom foyer; and public restrooms. Equipped with all new modern technology and contemporary designs, all meeting and event spaces are now open and available for meetings and events.
Experience a whole new level of elegance and versatility. The updated boardrooms and ballrooms at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa have been completely reimagined to provide a warm, sophisticated atmosphere for all gatherings. From the picturesque Evergreen Ballroom with lake views, ideal for up to 360 guests, to the Grand Ballroom, the largest traditional venue accommodating up to 576 guests, every space has been transformed with new layouts and decor, making them the epitome of style and charm. Whether it’s weddings, banquets, conferences, corporate events, or social gatherings, these venues are perfect for every occasion. Even the spacious Bay Boardrooms, hosting up to 12 guests, have been upgraded with the latest technology, large-screen televisions and a fresh, professional design. With state-of-the-art sound systems and modern furnishings, the contemporary ballroom designs and meeting spaces perfectly complement the resort’s 358 rooms and suites, updated in 2023, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all guests.
“We are looking forward to welcoming new and returning guests to take advantage of our beautifully designed event and meetings spaces,” shared Skip Harless, Managing Director, Grand Geneva Resort & Spa. “These newly reimagined spaces are an ideal setting to inspire connection and creativity for groups of any size.”
Offering over 62,000 sq. ft. of meeting and event space with flexible floor plans and a dedicated team of event professionals, Grand Geneva continues to be rated as one of Wisconsin’s top meeting and event destinations. In 2019, the resort completed the renovation of its largest conference space, the Forum Convention Center, featuring over 13,000 sq. ft. of useable space and seating for up to 1,800 people.
Over the past three years, both Grand Geneva and its on-site sister resort, the family-friendly Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark, have unveiled several renovations and redesigns including the reinvention of Grand Geneva’s Lobby Lounge, a complete renovation of the resort’s Grand Café, and the launch of its 60-seat outdoor dining venue, The Landing. Last year, all of Grand Geneva’s 358 rooms and suites were redesigned with a fresh new look and modern amenities.
Earlier this year, Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark announced the completion of upgrades to its Moose Mountain Falls waterpark with the addition of new water activities and interactive attractions. The new advancements include a multi-level play structure, dump bucket, four new slides for young adventurers, an expanded swimming area, and more.
Timber Ridge also introduced a brand-new dining establishment this year, Moose & Maple. Formerly Smokey’s BBQ House, the newly renovated and redesigned family-friendly dining concept offering breakfast and dinner is open for guests of both Timber Ridge and Grand Geneva.
“Grand Geneva’s series of renovations are a testament to the resort’s continuing dedication to offer guests an exceptional leisure vacation or business travel experience,” said Harless. “Grand Geneva has been known for its hospitality for the past 30 years and is committed to delivering exceptional experiences to our guests for years to come.”
Renovation news and updates are expected to continue, as both resorts plan more significant upgrades to their shared facilities, including plans for golf and spa.
