FRANKFURT, GERMANY – Leading German hospitality collective, Gekko Group, announces the recent appointment of Vito Alesi as Hotel Manager of Roomers Munich, a five-star luxury hotel and a member of the Autograph Collection.
With more than 13 years of experience in the German hospitality industry, Vito’s vocational training began at the renowned Bareiss in Baiersbronn, and at the 5-star Althoff Überfahrt in Rottach-Egern, prior to studying a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, and finally honing his managerial skills serving as Ameron Neuschwanstein Alpsee Resort & Spa’s Rooms Division Manager. His dedication and expertise were recognized when he earned second place in this year’s (2024) prestigious ‘Hotelier Nachwuchspreis’ awards.
“Vito’s passion for hospitality and expertise in management make him the perfect fit for our expanding team. We are looking forward to working with Vito to develop our guest relations and services at Roomers Munich”, says David Frenser, General Manager of Roomers Munich.
The avant-garde style Roomers Munich, a five-star luxury hotel and a member of the Autograph Collection designed by Dutch firm Concrete, is set in a lively district between the main train station and the Theresienwiese – famous worldwide for the Oktoberfest.
Alex Urseanu, Co-Founder of Gekko Group said, “We’re thrilled to welcome Vito to the Roomers Munich team ahead of what is expected to be a busy year for the hotel, with the UEFA EURO 2024, the lively concert schedule for the summer and the Oktoberfest events in the fall. We are confident that Vito’s professionalism will be a great asset to our dynamic team”.
Regarding his new role, Vito Alesi says, “I am incredibly excited to be part of the Roomers and Gekko family. Above all, I am very much looking forward to shaping a successful future for Roomers Munich with an exceptional team of hosts. I would especially like to thank David Frenser, Micky Rosen, and Alex Urseanu for the extraordinarily warm and heartfelt welcome I have experienced.”
Roomers Munich is the Gekko Group’s largest Roomers to date, with 280 rooms and suites offering the highest level of extravagance and individual style. Facilities include a grand spa with an infinity jacuzzi pool, wet bar cinema, saunas, and a varied menu of treatments. Its restaurants, Izakaya and Servus Heidi offer both Bavarian and Asian menus, and at the Roomers Bar, the in-house mixologists brew their own spirits and concoct the best drinks in town. Behind a hidden door to the left of the bar, partygoers can find the speakeasy afterparty club ‘The Red Room’. A velvety, mirrored oasis that hosts intimate events until 4am. Arguably the most exclusive experience the hotel offers guests is the collaboration with the legendary British luxury automotive manufacturer McLaren, to offer a complimentary one-hour joy ride around the city.
