Eurobound has introduced a 13-day/12-night, independent tour of classic Italy for solo travelers. The itinerary includes two nights in Milan and in Venice, three nights in Rome, and five nights in Florence.
Included are centrally-located hotel accommodations with breakfast, first-class rail travel, transfers, and small-group tours at each destination. Additional features include tickets to the Duomo rooftop in Milan, entrance to San Marco Basilica, and a private gondola ride in Venice, plus a classic Italian opera performance in Santa Monaca church in Florence.
Small-group tours range from walking discoveries of each city to a full-day excursion of Pisa and Cinque Terre.
Among included tours are the Vatican museums and Sistine Chapel, plus Ancient Rome with the Coliseum and Roman Forum in Rome. In Florence, a VIP Duomo tour awaits, along with a traditional food tour, a tour of the Uffizi Gallery, and a city walking tour with a visit to the Academia Gallery, while in Milan the walking tour includes a visit to Leonardo Da Vinci’s Last Supper.
“This package includes the highlights of Italy’s major cities, along with the convenience of pre-arranged accommodations, tours and transportation for an independent traveler who wants to see Italy in style,” says Jeff Roy, Eurobound’s Vice President, Marketing & Sales. Initially created for a traveler who booked a bike tour on his own, but wanted to experience more of Italy, the itinerary can also be broken into smaller segments for travelers with limited time.
Founded in 1996, the company provides distinctive, tailored packages and itineraries for independent travelers and small groups to Europe and beyond, sold exclusively through travel advisors. In addition to being named Tour Operator of the Year three times by Atout France, the French Tourist Office, Eurobound is a recipient of Switzerland Tourism’s bi-annual Gold Flower Award in recognition of its professionalism, innovation, and cooperation.
