FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. – Home-based agents with Dream Vacations and CruiseOne were surprised at their Nashville Regional Training when Selina Luketic, manager of national accounts for Princess Cruises, made the announcement revealing the network’s 2025 National Conference. The Conference will kick off in the Fort Lauderdale area at a hotel beginning Sunday November 9th and attendees will continue the learning, networking, and fun onboard the cruise line’s brand-new ship launching Fall 2025, Star Princess, with a five-day sailing November 10th – 15th. Travel advisors will visit several popular Caribbean destinations including Amber Cove, Grand Turk, and Turks and Caicos.
Star Princess is the second ship in the Sphere Class joining its sister ship, Sun Princess. Like its sister ship, Sun Princess, Star will feature eye-catching experience venues including The Dome, a geodesic, glass-enclosed structure at the top of the ship inspired by the terraces of Santorini. The outward and suspended Sphere Atrium, the namesake of this new class of ship, takes the central Piazza hub of the ship into a new dimension. Here guests are enveloped with expansive ocean views and an open concept, inspired to deliver the desired lifestyle of relaxed indoor and outdoor living. The latest entry to the Princess Cruises fleet will offer a number of spectacular features with array of 30 inviting restaurant and bar venues; a magnificent, expanded casino; a two-story Lotus Spa; most technologically advanced theater at sea; and mesmerizing entertainment in The Dome headlined by Cirque Éloize.
“Princess Cruises is honored to host the Dream Vacations and CruiseOne 2025 National Conference on our newest ship, Star Princess,” said Carmen Roig, Princess Cruises Vice President of Sales. “The Princess family looks forward to showcasing the new ship to our Dream Vacations and CruiseOne partners and raising a glass to your success.”
The most anticipated event of the year for agents with Dream Vacations and CruiseOne, the annual National Conference at sea, was one of the first in the industry to entirely take place aboard a weeklong cruise. Each National Conference has an overarching theme that forms the foundation and centerpiece for the content during the conference and throughout the upcoming year. The 2024 theme is ELEVATE. The itinerary is packed with non-stop educational and networking opportunities, as well as multiple fundraisers for signature charity Make-A-Wish.
“At Dream Vacations and CruiseOne, we always aim to create opportunities where our network can come together to experience a new ship, learn, build relationships and have fun. We’re thrilled the stars aligned with the Star Princess playing host for our 2025 National Conference,” said Drew Daly, senior vice president and general manager for Dream Vacations and CruiseOne. “Our National Conference always feels like a family reunion and will be even more engaging and intimate thanks to all the incredible spaces and experiences this ship will offer.”
“The party atmosphere of Nashville, America’s Music City, kept spirits high while learning and sharing during the Regional Training earlier this month. Naturally, we anticipated a big announcement, and we were not disappointed! With fanfare and enthusiasm, we were told that the 2025 National Conference will be hosted by Princess Cruises on their upcoming newest ship, the Star Princess,” said Christy Mahon, Dream Vacations franchise owner of Escape Artist Holidays and leisure travel advisor in Branchville, N.J. “The room went wild, confetti and cheering – all captured streaming LIVE on our Facebook page, too! We’re so thrilled to sail this amazing ship next November and explore Princess’ latest experiences onboard. It’s been 10 years since we last held our annual event on a Princess Cruise, and I’m eagerly anticipating the registration announcements!”
