The Seychellois Tourism Consultant, Alain St.Ange, heads to the UK early next week where he has been invited to be a Guest Speaker at an exclusive Tourism Gathering at the Ashmolean Museum at the University of Oxford on the 2nd and 3rd of August.
Alain St.Ange, who was recognised earlier this year for his work as a respected tourism personality and awarded a ‘Doctorate for Sustainable Tourism‘, continues to work internationally as a tourism consultant with Tourism Boards and Ministries of Tourism across the African Continent and in the ASEAN Block. He remains a sought-after speaker for tourism forums and conferences.
Alain St.Ange who will be the Guest Speaker at this exclusive Tourism Gathering was formally the Minister of Tourism & Culture in the era of President James Michel, before being appointed the Minister for Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports & Marine in the era of President Danny Faure. It was the private sector trade through the SHTA under the Chairmanship of Louis D’Offay who pushed to see St.Ange as a private sector trade person to enter the Tourism Board as Director of Marketing in 2009 before becoming CEO Director of Tourism and Minister.
