ROME – ITA Airways, the Italian national carrier, announce the opening of sales for the new Milan Linate – Malta Luqa nonstop connection, starting from June 1st. The new flight will operate with four weekly frequencies from June to September according to the following schedule:
Milan Linate – Malta Luqa with departure at 11:10 a.m. and arrival in Malta at 1:05 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday, while on Saturday departure will be at 3:00 p.m. and arrival at 4:55 p.m.
Malta Luqa – Milan Linate with departure at 1:55 p.m. and arrival in Milan at 3:55 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday, while on Saturday departure will be at 5:45 p.m. and arrival at 7:45 p.m.
In the Summer 2024, ITA Airways will operate 57 destinations, including 16 domestic, 26 international and 15 intercontinental. North America, Africa and the Middle East will be the markets where ITA Airways will inaugurate direct flights from its Rome Fiumicino hub. In detail, a new direct flight from Rome Fiumicino to Chicago will be launched in April as well as direct connections to Toronto and Riyadh in May. In June, it will be the turn of nonstop flights to Accra and Kuwait City, in July of the one to Dakar and in August to Jeddah.
In addition, during the summer peak, ITA Airways will add 10 seasonal connections, selected among the most popular Mediterranean tourism destinations, including Greece, Spain, Croatia, and the Italian islands, reachable through nonstop flights from Rome Fiumicino and Milan Linate. These are Rhodes, Ibiza, Palma de Mallorca, Menorca, Heraklion, Corfu, Lampedusa, Pantelleria, as well as Split and Kefalonia operated only from Rome Fiumicino
