“Yes, air transport is still fundamental!” This was the conclusion last week of the 23 international speakers who were on stage in the conference room of the prestigious Fairmont Hotel in Monaco on the occasion of the 14th World Connect by APG, which brought together 468 participants including 70 airlines from 84 countries.
Jean Louis Baroux, President and Founder of World Connect by APG, explained: “First of all, if this World Connect was a great success, it was partly thanks to the professionalism of the teams and the management of the Fairmont Hotel who for 2 days worked extremely hard and offered a high level of service to welcome the participants of this 14th session.
Furthermore, it is always striking to see the effort that participants make to attend this event. Many people fly more than 15 hours in each direction just to spend 2 days at World Connect by APG. This proves the value they attach to it.” He concluded: “Air transport is still fundamental for humanity, not only because it brings people together and is a factor of peace, but because it is also essential to the global economy.
We anticipate a similar attendance next year where the 15th World Connect by APG will take place between 23rd and 25th October at the Westin Dragonara Hotel in Malta.”
