MINNEAPOLIS – 50 Degrees North, a prominent Scandinavian tour specialist, announce the appointment of Mari Rasanen, a Finnish native and long-term member of the 50DN leadership team, as the company’s new global CEO, effective from January 22, 2024.
Mari has worked in several positions in the company over the years and has progressively taken on more senior roles. Most recently, she has served as the global Finance Manager and the General Manager of 50 Degrees North in Australia.
Mari’s outstanding contributions and unwavering commitment have been instrumental in shaping the success of 50 Degrees North. Her dedication and exceptional performance have made her a natural choice to lead the company into the future as the global CEO.
50 Degrees North’s Co-Founder and current CEO, Tietse Stelma, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming transition: “We have dedicated 13 wonderful years to building the 50DN family and we are immensely proud of our accomplishments.
